Across these schemes, there is a prediction to save over 160,000 tonnes CO2 annually once fully operational. In addition, the GHNF funding is estimated to unlock nearly 12,200 direct and 3,000 indirect jobs, mostly in construction and heat network operation.1 2023 has seen significant deployment through the Government’s GHNF, with 7 new projects supported, and near doubling the annual CO2 reduction.
